Energetica Exhibition

Blue skies, wind turbines and solar panels

On loan from the NEMO Science Museum in Amsterdam, the Energetica exhibition is coming to the Community Science Museum. It’s a series of installations that allow visitors to experience the power of the elements as we harness them. From solar energy powering lighting, to ‘Wind Island’ that shows how turbines are able to use and control wind to create power.

Night In The Museum

Young "Rocket Stars" Club

Our current theme is rocket science, where we explore the science behind behind rockets, satellites in space, and sending probes out into the galaxy.

Make sure to sign up for are special guest session on January 8th where Prof Sheila Widnall from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology will be running a class on the science and technology that put a man on the moon.

Last Summers Holiday Club "Roboracing"

Last summers holiday club theme was "Roboracing!" where we learnt to build are own robots to race, perform special tasks. We used VR headsets and game pads to control them, as well as built a simple AI to allow our robots to navigate a track all on there own!. The kids even got to shake Rob the Robots hand.
